Hello fellow Canadians!

I'm looking for a inexpensive and cheerful (clean) hotel for a last minute trip in Disney at the end of August for my family of 4.

Looking for clean rooms, "suite style" a bonus, nice pool, close to Disney.

Any suggestions?

Besy Western Lakeside is a great hotel tht offers clean rooms 3 adult pools, two kiddie and is just 1.8 miles from Disney. Just 59.00 Cn through Maritime Travel. Shuttle service is also available. Kids eat free with paying adults.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites (Parkway Blvd) 2 years ago. It has since changed names to Palms Hotel and Villas.

With AAA, we managed under $100/nt in November. It would probably be $125-145/nt in August, but it is very close to Disney, clean, and has a nice pool. Offers:

Complimentary high speed wireless access in lobby
Complimentary USA today newspaper
Ironing board and iron
Hair dryers
Two in-room telephones with voicemail and dataport
Fully equipped kitchens
Daily housekeeping services
Full size refrigerators
Full size sofa-sleeper
Microwaves
Dining area that doubles as a workplace
Coffee maker
Stove top
Dishwasher
Dishes, glassware and silverware

I would recommend ground floor poolside, since I4 is along the back of the hotel. We were in the building closest to the 'Lodge', poolside, and never heard a thing.

We stayed at Summerbay thru Skyauction. Got a 2 bedroom condo with kitchen, washer and dryer for $285 US for THE WEEK last October. Silver Lake is also supposed to be good and availbale with Skyauction.

We are staying at Comfort Suites Maingate East for two nights in early August before we check into a villa. It got excellent reviews on Expedia but I booked it from their website with a CAA rate for $66.00 Canadian a night. It is a studio suite with a kitchenette, two queen beds and a pull out sofabed. The pool looks huge. Good luck! :)

We have stayed at Windsor Palms - 3 bed condo. It was clean and the clubhouse pool was excellent! You need a car though. No shuttles. About a 5 minute drive to Disney.

We booked through http://www.elite-homes.com/. Check out their specials for Aug, Sept.
