Cheap Airfare

Back in May someone posted a great link for cheap airfare, but I don't remember what it was. I thought I would ask where everyone goes to find their cheapest airfare? Thanks!!

southwest.com has some cheap fares to Orlando

I keep reading about Southwest's great airfares, but are they just from the East Coast?? I love flying Southwest, but we paid $260 per person in mid-July and I've been checking for Nov/Dec and can't find any cheap flights offered out of Kansas City. I also looked at other airlines for our July trip, and could have saved may $20-$30 if we had long layovers vs. non-stop on Southwest.

How soon in advance should you start looking for Southwest's great rates?

Do any airlines have children fly half-price or free?

Not sure of your exact dates of course, so I just arbitrarily picked some dates and compared Southwest to other airlines. Best price on the other airlines was US Air, $368.00 pp rt, and it had a layover. No airline I could find was nonstop besides Southwest. Southwest price pp was $92.00 each way, yes I know it's not the $49-59 price others are paying, but you have to look at the length of your flight compared to the east coast. I think you are still getting a great deal. JMO
