Chatterbox Thread-Cmon in and Jabber! Everyone is Welcome!

So so so happy to have boys.. thank you, thank you oh marvelous hormone god for inflicting my entire family with boy children. :dogdance:

I rented Nanny McPhee returns and it actually wasn't bad. I was just curious to watch it. :rotfl: I liked the first film and this one was cute too. I also rented Knight & Day with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise but haven't watched it yet.

We watched knight and day.. It was okay. Kinda funny.

That's crazy! :sad2: I know what you mean. Would the mom say: "Okay son, would you like some privacy? I'll be back later" and drive off somewhere? Geeze :rotfl:

Don't you watch Wife swap?
There was a family that had "sleepovers" of BF's all the time. It was like totally expected behavior, creepy! but hey they will be grandparents sooner than later. :rolleyes1

Don't think you are getting out of this unscathed...ladies with only sons end up having some crazy, kooky DIL's! :rotfl2:

I still stand by my "no kids for pixster" policy. :rotfl: Isn't it a freakin blessing that I never had them? I'm so thankful for that!!

Thats nuts I am so not comfortable with that in my house at all. I don't even like them being on her rom with the dor closed. But having the door open with al the little ones isn't really an option.

I think it's normal that you feel that way but I do agree that with your younger kids she may need privacy

A promise ring? Great! Sheesh. Omg. And yikes, all rolled up into one!

Interestingly enough...and you guys are the only ones I've said this to...heck I don't even really want to say it...but about a month after they started dating I just had the feeling that she was going to marry him someday.

I've been trying to give her advice lately about finishing college first, telling her that it might be a good idea to live by herself for a while after finishing college...just to experience independence, etc. She seems to be listening, I hope, I pray!

Oh.. Alison, I hope she waits a bit.

B, I am so implementing that rule here. I mean, of they do it... Fine. But they aren't going to be doing it in my house! Not with my kids here.

Job security for me...the new straight jacket inspector from Belize!:thumbsup2

I ordered a cake for my mom's bday and picked it up today from the bakery. I called my grandma (one who lives @ my parents house) to tell her in case she had planned to ask my aunt to get a cake) and I tell her I got a cake and then I tell her not to tell. Then she holds the phone away and tells my mom! Argh!!! :sad2: I tell my mom and she turns to my grandma and says: "Why did you tell me? She said it was a surprise and not to tell me!" and she said: "she didn't say that" and I said: "Yes I did!" Oi vay

:goodvibes
I hope she listens too.

I want the same for the boys. I think it's more of the norm now to live on your own for awhile.. well .. with room mates anyway. We have quite a few in our complex now, fun to see and chat with them.

That's the same thing I told DD. Heck they even housesat a few times when DH & I were at the beach for the weekend and I decided to call on my cell phone when were were about 30 minutes away from coming home. There are just some things I don't want to deal with and that's one of them!:lmao:
