Oh yes! You should come join us. We have a Gnome Thread on the community board and sometimes we go chat at night. It's a cess pool of enabling, we'll get you another trip to Disney in no time!
Finding the DIS has been a nice addition to my life, as well.
I will totally stay away from any chat rooms, because I'm in over my head with Disney trips as it is, but I will very much enjoy seeing the results of what happens from you guys chatting.

Finding the DIS has been a nice addition to my life, as well.
I will totally stay away from any chat rooms, because I'm in over my head with Disney trips as it is, but I will very much enjoy seeing the results of what happens from you guys chatting.

Yep... I've taken 1500-2000 or more on each trip..... except my solo
I think i was just shy of 900 on that one. I LOVE
all the scenery pics I can take... but when you add in travelling companions... it really bumps up the pic count!!Wait til my November trip with my girls and nephews (the boys very 1st trip)... I might not see ANYTHING all week without it being thru the camera lens

All my favorites gnomies have pre trip and post trip reports going on right now. It is sooooo exciting, only I am so bummed that I can't go the at the same time in September. I must go earlier because of my coworker's vacation plans. So I will be there 9/20 - 24 and will be leaving when you all arrive! How bad is that?????? I would love to meet all you girls in person, no matter how brief. Darn coworker - how dare she go to Africa for three weeks??????? 
hmmmmm - I just thought of something - I wonder if DH would let me stay be myself an extra day or two????? Probably not, but its a thought!

Chapter 2: In the Famous Words of one Caterpillar, “Who…oo Are You..uu?”
Well now that you know a trip is happening and you at least have the names of those going I felt it was time to properly introduce those of us so you’d have a better idea of the mayhem that is bound to follow us to Disney.
Let’s start with Paula
Paula is the digitally and artistically talented one of the trio. She is so creative and her creations are just magnificent. You can check out some of her creations on her DISign board; however I do not believe she is taking any new requests at this time, but her work is phenomenal so go take a look. Paula is a Disney nut (I use this term affectionately) who loves thrill rides and making the most of every minute she has in the parks. She is huge Crush lover, in case you couldn’t figure that out about her, I tend to think their personalities fit together LOL! She is just plain cool LOL! Paula is a very proud owner of DVC and hasn’t been back to Disney since last fall, but not for lack of trying (we blame a certain tree, although I hear it might not be around next winter!). Paula is happily married to her DH and has three wonderful children who have graciously agreed to loan me their mom for a week. Paula likes to spoil her friends and family and is one of the most generous people I have ever met. My goal for Paula for this trip is to help karma along and spoil her silly giving her some of that kindness back (Of course I can’t reveal those plans, I think she might be reading this PTR LOL!).
Next up everyone’s favorite gnome, Nobby!
No trip to Disney would be complete without Nobby. I wouldn’t dare leave him behind for fear of what he would do to me while I slept LOL! Just kidding, Nobby isn’t violent just knows how to throw a mean tantrum. It is only fitting that Nobby should come because he was Paula’s idea in the first place and he owes that lovely lady many thanks and he’s simply dying to ride some rides with me and her. I also feel slightly bad because you see on our last trip to Disney, Nobby didn’t get taken out a lot and he deserves a redo.
Nobby is your typical gnome, he loves spending time in his garden and reading books. Nobby’s favorite Disney character is Snow White. She is his lady, he adores her and promises have already been made for us to find her for him. Much to the chagrin of his Disney companions (okay maybe just me) Nobby’s favorite ride is Its A Small World. If you let him he would ride it again and again and again, well you get the picture. Nobby is a ladies’ man, a real charmer and for the most part has a very pleasant disposition, he is a welcome addition to this trip.

I’m Jen, the PTR/TR writer and ADR maker of this little adventure. This is my third adventure to Disney this year, of course it’s all made easier when you have an AP and live only 7 hours away. I’m happily married to Prince Phillip and we have two beautiful cats together. If you read my first PTR you know we are a family of compromise, my January solo trip was in exchange for a hunting trip he took during my birthday and my anniversary. Well this trip (during my birthday and my anniversary LOL) was negotiated for a trip to Alaska with his dad during the salmon runs. I’m a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion and can’t wait to attend my first MNSSHP. Most of all I’m looking forward to the great memories made with great friends made on the DIS. I mean all of us, in one place, during Food and Wine, oh yes a wild time will be had.
Well while I’m at it, I guess I should give a shout out to some lovely peeps who will be the supporting cast of this tale.
Christine (2xcited2sleep): Deluxe Resort Connoisseur, Fine Wine Extraordinaire, and Admirer of all things French. She is the cultured one of the group yet loves a really good cheeseburger (She’s my type of gal!!). She has put up with a lot of teasing from us about waiters from foreign countries and still has agreed to hang out with us. In my book she is one fine lady. Paula and I can’t wait to meet her.
LL aka Leslie (Lady Lallie): Soarin Loving, Mary Poppins Admirer, deserves a redo trip, Prom Queen of DIS (LOL I had to LOL)!! LL is also making the trek down during this trip and we’re delighted. After her May trip, LL really wanted a redo and she simply adores MNSSHP and lobster rolls, so what better time than the fall. She was very easily convinced to come join us!!!
So that’s the crew. There will be other DIS meets along the way, of course you’ll have to wait to hear about those later. So let’s get started and talk trip details WOOT! There is much fun to be had, food to be eaten, and surprises to be revealed!!!
