I really really really hope to make it to the chat room at 7pm on Sunday. Only problem is that the in-laws visit on Sunday afternoons and normally stay 'til late! There is a chance I can make it for 7.30pm for half an hour as m-i-law likes to watch her favourite soap on our telly at that time!

Hope to see loads of people at around 7pm or 7.30pm then?

I don't suppose anyone will see this before it's too late, but hopefully will help me out for the next time there is a scheduled chat!

I managed to get into the chat room and the scrolling message along the top says there are 8 other people on line. I cannot see anyone else's name listed and the top of the screen also says I will not be able to see any replies from anyone - that sounds sort of stupid!

Am I in the wrong area? I was in the auditorium and was unable to change rooms. Very strange.

HELP!! What was I doing wrong?

When you logged in, which "chat client" did you select from the drop down menu?

The default is not a good option to select as this won't work properly. It is usually best to install the i chat plug in (now called globalchat plug in), by following the link from the chatroom entrance, and once you've done that, selecting the ichat Plug in as your "chat client".

I'd be happy to try and meet you in the chatroom at a mutually convenient time to see if it is working properly for you.

It would be great if we could meet up sometime and try it out. How are you most mornings during the week? I can do most days between 9.30am and 2.30pm to 3pm (although Wednesdays are normally difficult). What time would suit you best?

Yes, 1pm today is fine.

If I am a little late, it's just because my seven year old is off school and has been sick this morning several times. Saying that, he has been ok (cross fingers) for a few hours.

I will check this thread before I do anything else at 1pm.
