Has anyone had trouble using the chat feature on the member site? I tried multiple times and it just takes me to sales.
Yet again a beyond frustrating situation with the website.
Is there a different way to live chat with member services?

I just tried and it was not working for me.
I am on a 55 minute wait on the phone for MS at the moment...
 
Wow- That makes me feel so much better about my 54 minutes wait :rolleyes2

And I'm actually happy about being on hold as the first time I called I got a message that said "No advisors to talk to you right now, so call back" (I'm paraphrasing).
 
I used it over the weekend. It usually takes about 5 minutes or so to show up and get in the que. But it did work.
 

Today i was asked 3 questions: Name, Where you live and if you already own DVC.... when you answer yes to are you already a DVC member... it basically says to call
If you answer no, to are you already a DVC member.... you get a sales guide.
 
You are somehow getting the sales one. If you accidentally enter the add on tool area, that is the chat that pops up.

I just was one and got to the normal one. Not sure why your account isn’t working.

Hmmmm.... interesting. I wasn't in the add on area. I wonder why I'm getting that one?
The website is very glitchy for me lately.

Yes, just a couple days ago. Tried it on Monday and no luck. Had me fill out three questions then said , thanks for communicating with us!. Then I tried it several more times on Tuesday and after about 3 trys, I finally got on an actual chat session.
 
Chat isn't really working today either.... (Friday between 1:00pm and 2:30pm)

The "Chat" button pops up - but then when you click on it, you get this message-
"Welcome Home! Live chat is now available for Membership-related questions! Please log in to DisneyVacationClub.com and click "Chat Now." Live Chat is available 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM EST Monday to Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST Saturday and Sunday. You may contact Member Services directly by calling (800) 800-9800, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM EST Monday to Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST Saturday and Sunday."
And the only option at that point is to close the message.

I've been trying for 1.5 hrs. (off and on) now.
