Chat box?

Wondering if there has ever been a chat box feature on the board? Sometimes it would be nice to just post a quick question without having to create a new thread.
I’m sure Xenforo has one, & it could be for users with a certain amount of posts to avoid spam, etc.
Or maybe it was tried before and didn’t workout?

Not sure if you mean a chat feature. The board used to have, many years ago, 20 or more years now, a moderated chat room feature that ran several nights a week. It was well attended. Usually 2 or 3 moderators to maintain playing nice. Sometimes 20-30 showed up, lots of fun. Fridays were memorable. None now that I am aware of.

Funny you say 20+ years ago. I used to run a board back then (far from Disney related. lol) and used a chat box feature and it was great, but definitely have to make it a privilege to use it. (to avoid spamming)
