Dumb question. Can I pay the balance of my cruise with the Chase Rewards card? Paid the deposit with my Chase Visa.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Also, if you mention you're a Disney Chase member, you get a $50 on board credit.
We had it in march and it was beverages only at that time. The $50 used to be for anything, then changed to beverages only (we used for bottled water/smoothies), so has it changed back to being good for anything again?
Six months free financingI've always thought about getting the Chase Rewards card. Besides the $50 onboard credit, are there any other perks specifically for DCL?

You have to pay the entire fare with your disney visa (not rewards) to get the $50 on board credit. You cannot prepay on your account (for tips or spending money) with anything besides your disney visa if you want that $50 credit. You can pay your tips etc with your rewards or anything else once you are on the ship and still get the $50 OBC.
When were your cruises? The "must pay entire cruise cost via Disney Visa for OBC (regardless if it's beverage only or general)" thing has been in effect at least since 2011.Is this new as I have taken only 4 Disney Cruises but always pay with a combo of Disney Reward Points & our Disney Visa and always have gotten the $50.00 credit for beverages?

If you got the OBC since then and didn't pay for the full reservation (deposit to final payment) with the Disney VISA card, you got lucky.
I just opened mine and they offered the $200 as a statement credit if you spend $500+ in the first couple of months or something like that. My credit came right away after paying for the deposit so it was worth it to me!When I opened mine while booking a cruise online, it also gave me $200 off my cruise. Not sure if they offer that anymore. This was a while ago
