I just called a couple of days ago to order the Happiest Celebration design. I just called the number on the back of the card. The gentleman I talked to was very helpful. I wasn't able to get DVC on my card when I first ordered it because I had Day 1 on it. However, he told me that I can have both. We'll see when it gets here!!

I can definitely tell you I have Day 1 and DVC on mine, so it is possible. I guess it all depends on the customer service person you get and how knowledgable they are.

I ordered the "Castle-Happiest Celebration" card, because it was a limited edition card, through the autimated system also, but called the 800 # to ask about the DVC imprint on the new card. I was told that whatever is on your existing card, will be on the new one

I just ordered mine with Bambi - too bad I couldn't order vintage mickey for my dh. I think they will both come as bambi.

We were able to order two different designs for the same account so I could have the castle and DH has vintage Mickey. We just called the number of the back of our card and not the number in the newsletter.

Also ordered the "Castle" one as well since its a limited edition. I figured I could get the other ones in the future...

I think the imprint issue here, and why we are presumably told two different things, is this:

Line 1: Stamped with "Cardmember Since" then embossed with "Day 1"
Line 2: Embossed with Cardholder Name
Line 3: Embossed with either "Charter Cardmember" or "DVC Member" - (not enough room to have both on this line.)

So if you have Day 1 for line 1 and DVC Member on line 3, then you have both on your card. (thus the answer, yes you can)
But you can't have both embossed on line 3. (thus the answer, no you can't)

OK - another answer from the 800 number.

I was told - you can't add DVC to your card unless you apply thru the DVC number and THEN I would lose the Day 1 status.

She said the DVC card is a "special" card that allows for the additional imprint line.

Does that sound like a lot of bunk to anyone else?
Can anyone scan in their DVC card (of course, black out the numbers - ha!)

Please post as soon as you guys start receiving the new cards. My sil just called and told me she received hers and there was a special offer - if she spends $400 between June 1st and July 31st - she would receive a free companion certificate for an airline ticket or something. I told her I want to see the offer and hoping I receive same offer.

I just PMd you the number. I'm not sure if you need a code to get DVC member on it. I was told that I could get it and I didn't have a code. I guess I'll just have to wait till it gets here to find out.

When I ordered the classic Micky, I went through a phone prompt and it didn't have the DVC option. How do I go about getting DVC on my card?

I ordered mine by phone on Thursday. I was torn between the castle and classic mickey. Mickey won!

I wish one of the options was similar to the WDW room key. I'd feel at home all the time!

I just called the # on the back of my card, but I was told that we could only have one design per account. I ordered the castle, but I wonder if I could call back and order vintage mickey, then we might get both? Has anyone else tried this?

As with many things, it may depend on who you talk to. We were definitely able to get two different designs on one phone call.
