Chase Disney Visa Bonus Question

We got a $200 bonus for signing up for this card a couple months ago before our trip plus $50 for an additional card plus rewards dollars for the money we charged on that account. Now that the trip is over and we don't have much use for the 1% points since we have other cards with better perks. Can I cancel this card and get another bonus by reapplying in 2 years (or some other amount of time)? I'm thinking, if we apply in my wife's name next year, we could get the bonus every year by alternating. Is this possible? Has anyone done it?

As long as the bonus is available, sure, you can do that. You need 24 mos from when you received the bonus to be eligible for it again.
