Chase Disney Rewards Card-Question

I have a Chase Disney Rewards Visa card. I earned 45 points and just ordered a rewards card with the 45 points on it. Can I use the Rewards card anywhere in WDW? Is 45 points worth $45?

We used ours for shopping & dining in WDW without any problems. I think there are a few places where it is not accepted in DTD & I'm thinking not at non-Disney owned places like Rainforest Cafe. Hopefully someone else will post to confirm that.

I've also read about people applying the balance of their card to their room charges midway through their trip.

We also used ours for shopping and dining in WDW, at POR, and in Downtown Disney. Not sure about other DTD restaurants, but I do know that Bongos does not take the card.

The card is accepted by places that are owned by Disney with the exception of maybe the balloon vendor on Main St. and a few of the other "mobile" vendors.

Just an FYI, the next time you get a card from Disney VISA, put the minimum on it when you request it. They require that you have at least $10 in rewards dollars to transfer more to the card afterwards. If you order a card today and leave at least $10 untouched, you can transfer that and any rewards that you accrue on the next statement. If you transfer it all right now, then you risk having a few rewards dollars that you earn between now and your trip that you cannot transfer because they amount to less than $10.
