Chase Disney Premier VISA Rewards Card- Annual Fee?

For those of you that also have the Premier Disney Chase VISA Card- when do they charge you the annual fee ($49)? I upgraded and this is my first card with an annual fee ever. I assumed it would be on the first bill after I upgraded, but I certainly didn't see it on there. Am I missing something or is everyone assessed the fee at the same time of year or something?

Did you check your online account? It might not have made it on to the most recent statement. But it is usually charge right when you upgrade.

Its been a couple years since we got the premier card but I believe it was on the 2nd or 3rd statement we got after we upgraded it from the regular card.

I think we upgraded in May, and were charged the $49 fee in September. It was a few months after upgrading

Agree -- it was a few months after upgrading before the charge appeared. I'm not sure if it coincided with an anniversary date of when we initially got the card, or if it just takes their system that long to catch up. Maybe it's a grace period to make sure we'd earned enough points to "earn back" the fee (which I believe they'll refund if you don't earn enough extra rewards).
