What about the tax in the savings? It's high 12 or 13% I think.

I think this is an important question. It seems likely that the dining plan and the room would be taxed differently. For anyone whose two discounts are relatively close, this could make the difference.

Anyone have any information on this?

Thank you for this! I looked at it yesterday and realized that we could upgrade from POR to AKL for just under $150 for the week! I called and there were still rooms available under my November pin. Can't wait to try AKL!

I don't know exactly. I know general sales tax is 6.5% in WDW. But lodging tax I think is 12.5% and 13.5%. It's higher by 1% at the all star resorts because they are in a different county. The trickiest thing is sometimes Disney's prices include tax and sometimes they don't.
