Charter buses

Coming down on Friday. My father in law will be with us and he uses a scooter to get around the parks. i'm starting to read about charter buses being used to supplement the disney buses because of a lack of drivers. these charter buses cannot take scooters. i can't seem to find how widespread the use of these charter buses is. are we going to potentialy be waiting a while for a disney bus that can accommodate the scooter to come by?

Not any help, but we're interested as well...definitely frustrating for those with scooters.
