Charm Bracelets

I had read on a few posts lately about people buying charm bracelets and charms in the Disney Shops at WDW.

Just wondering if these are new and if someone could provide some information on them.

It is something my wife may be interested in looking into.

They seem to have the best prices. If you are going to buy a bracelet for your wife, notice that the bracelets usually have only 14 links and most people's wrists need around 20. So count how many charms you are going to buy and then buy a few extra links so she can wear it right away. As you buy more charms you can take away the extra links.

You can buy the bracelets at the Disney resorts and stores at the parks. I bought mine at the BWV store but I also saw them other places. The price for the bracelet was $7.the charms were reasonable too. They also have exspensive charms cost approx. $25. ea. similar to the cheaper ones but for a child the cheaper charms are nice hard to tell the diifference They both attach to the $7. bracelet. Hope this is of some help.

I just got a Italian Charm bracelet at WDW in October and love it.
Some tips I learned:
There are two versions at Disney...one is about $7 and one is $14. Difference: the $14 is a better quality, stainless steel and will not rust. The $7 one is plated and will rust and/or turn colors.
Same with the charms...the cheaper charms are the same...the ones in the jewelry cases that range from 15-50 are stainless steel too.

TIP: Instead of worrying about getting enough charms so it fits, get two bracelets....$28 and you can save the other links. Once you start to collect charms, you could end up with two bracelets.

ebay has some great charms! And they will say if they are stainless steel.
