Charging your cell phone...

I saw a fella charging his phone at the train station at Main Street in the MK.

+1 on taking a portable charger or spare battery. My wife's phone ran way down when we were at MK, so next time we're bringing a spare battery or a portable charger.

We always have a few portable chargers. They're cheap and easy to carry. I sometimes carry a charger, too. I've charged at Sunshine Seasons at the Land and at BOG.

I had to charge a lot last summer. My phone would not hold a charge. I liked charging while we ate at Columbia Harbor House. I used a plug in the Rock N Roller Coaster gift shop while I waited on my party to ride. I have a new phone this year and it stays charged forever. also have the Jackery battery packs this year. Hoping I do not need to spend any time at outlets!

Get at least one portable charger. The cheapest ones appear to be good for about a charge and a half on my phone. YMMV. My friend has a larger one that can charge three phones at once.

Once in a while you may luck out with a random outlet but you would be better off bringing a power block of some sort.
If you are having a meal and luck out with an outlet - more power to you, but it is not a common occurance...

Get the power block and plug in when you need it without having to sit and wait for a charge...

Even though there is wifi, when you are in lines inside of buildings or attractions inside of buildings, your battery will disappear while your phone tries to find wifi or wireless signals = nonexistent inside most buildings...

It was always hard for me to find an outlet that was available so I broke down and got a small portable charger (I have 2 now).
I have the Samsung S6 and can't change out the battery on it so having those 2 chargers really helps me (they both give me one spare charge each - I use my phone alot at Disney now that I've been taking pictures with it).

An outlet story - I was in a store at DHS and charging my phone at an outlet with me standing there waiting. A CM came up to me and told me I couldn't charge my phone there - guests weren't allowed to use the outlets. I was a bit annoyed since I'd seen someone else doing the same thing in another store but I unplugged and went to the other store and charged my phone with no issues there.
That store is gone now though - I think it was replaced by the Starbucks at DHS.

All the plugs at Rapunzel were broke for us. We charged at the circus tent in MK and it was completely crowd free with cozy seats.

I'll echo the portable charger. This will be our first trip with needing to access MDE, plus all the electronics for the boys, my mom, etc. so I got 3 portable chargers for our June trip.

I carried around my cord last trip. Topped it off whenever I could find a outlet.
