We are sailing 6-04 with connecting rooms in the "secret portholes" (our favorite location). My teens will be in one room and my husband and I in the other. I don't want to give them free credit card access, for obvious reasons. Can I just put a certain amount of money down for them on their card so I can keep track of what they spend and have credit card service on myself and husband?

I don't think you set a spending "limit" but you can disallow spending privileges. This doesn't really solve your problem - depending on what they may spend money on, you could buy them the video arcade cards and soda program and then they wouldn't need to really spend money. Or, you could still allow spending privileges on the cards and set up a spending limit on their cards informally with them (you can spend xx amount each day). Then you can check your balance each day.

You do not have to leave a credit card on their cards, but you can pay cash, at Guest Services, on their account. In order for them to be able to charge anything they have to have charging priv., but they must be paid for in some way. I would set a spending limit for each teen and get a print out of charges each evening. That way each of you know what is being spent.
In fact, I always get a print out of my account each evening so I can keep track of my charges. It is so easy to just keep pulling out that card and signing away.
