Charging to room

I know that all of the charges made to your room go to one account (i.e. two families staying in a 2BR, all charges for both families would go on the same account.)

When we go in November, my parents will be staying in a separate studio. I'm assuming that they will be able to charge to their room, and all of their charges would be separate from the 2BR the rest of us will be in. Is this a correct assumption?

We have rented 2 studios in the past. One for DH and me and another for our college age daughter and friend. Even though, in our case, both rooms had the same name and credit card, each room got a separate billing statement.

Hope that helps!

Mrs M,

You are correct, the charge accounts are separate. Your parents could use their credit card number for their room key charges, and you could use your crecit card for your room key charges.

One thing you'd probably want to do, if you haven't already, is put the ressie for your parents studio in their name.

Thanks - that's what I thought. I did put their studio in their name since we'll be arriving at different times, and I didn't want them to run into any problems. I was hoping they'd be able to charge to their room as well.

This is true when it's a totally separate room but it is not true for a lockoff 1 BR plus studio UNLESS your reserved them separately.
