My understanding is that the credit card on file does not get charged until the first of 1) your check out date, or 2) the point at which you reach the maximum charging credit they give you at checking. So....if you have a $1,000 charging limit, and you during your entire stay only charge $600 you won't see a credit card charge until checkout. If you charge $1,200 by your second day, the credit card gets charged the $1,200 and your charging limit resets to the $1,000 - make sense?
