Charging to Room at Universal?

I have charged to the room before at WDW, but is Universal about the same? At WDW I put my Visa check card down at check-in and just paid it off when we checked out - and once they just charged it to the card. Can you do this at Universal?? And if so, if staying at RPR where can you charge - just at that hotel or can you also charge at PB, HRH, etc. Anyone know?

You can charge anywhere in the parks and at most if not all of the restauraunts in City Walk as well, all resorts too.
