I'm guessing this can't be done but Disney has amazed me before so I thought I would ask. I have only ever traveled to WDW with my family and really enjoy the ease of room charging priviliges, however I will be making a short trip soon with a friend. Is it possible for each of us to have seperate credit cards designated to our individual room keys?

I know we could charge all to one and figure out whose was whose later but it will be a pain so will having cash on hand. I guess I could carry a credit card with me - just not used to this!

Don't know if they will give you two separate cards with different cc's . They did break down our charges for us one year by keycard number and then at the end my daughter went to the desk and had them put her charges (for cards 4 & 5) on her credit card which left mine on the original card.

When I went down with BF, they would not let us have 2 separate charge cards on the room key. Since the room was only in one of our names. They said we could charge to the room and seperate it out later in the week, but no to the 2 charge cards for one room reservations. I was disapointed too. Since we both loved to charge. ;)

If they can break it down by key card that would be great, then one of us can just reimburse the other later. Trying to figure out who spent $27.83 at a particular gift shop would not be my idea of fun for the plane trip home!

Thanks!

Each room key is numbered (01, 02, 03, etc). Each time a charge is made to the room, the key making the charge is noted by the number. If you go to the Front Desk the NIGHT BEFORE check out, they will print you a copy of the entire folio. You can go through the charges and determine who charged what. Then the person whose key is NOT on the reservation can make payment with their own credit card, cash, traveler's check, or debit card. The remaining charges will/can be charged to the card on the reservation.

Just don't wait until the morning of check out. All charges from the folio would be charged to the original card on the reservation.

Great advice, LadyLt!

Another hint for everyone is that you can also pay for your charged expenses the night before checkout with a *different* credit card, remaining traveler's checks, etc. In case you didn't want it all on the same card you used to book your room with.

:)

Another way to do this is to Load your cards before going into the parks- you can go to Guest Services and give them cash upfront to load into each card. Don't know if you were planning on just using credit cards but if not- this may be an option. My DD and I did this in Feb when we shared a room and we are planning on doing the same thing this November.
