I remeber someone mentioning charging stations around the Parks where you can charge you powerchair battery up, if needed.

Could someone direct me to where I can find info. on these locations?

Thanks.

I was just at WDW and was with someone who was in a ecv. He charged up at the Spoodles (closed) outside sitting area with a wonderful view of the Castle in MK...first right after main street...he also charged up in Epcot while in the Italian Restaurant ....try IM'ing CheshireFigment...he is a CM at WDW and is on this thread frequently. He should know a lot of places!!! Good Luck and have a magical vacation!!! princess: :moped: :wave2: :thumbsup2 :cool1:

There are no offical charging stations. And if you need to charge your ECV/powerchair during the day there is something wrong with your batteries or your charger is not giving you a full charge at night. You should have it checked out by your service tech.

It is hard to say, but generally it is easy to find an electric outlet inside restaurant lobbies or on the wall near the restrooms in counter service. I have also found tehrm on building walls and even at the base on some lampposts.

If outdoors you have to look for the weather protected ones (usually with two covers that flip) and also (not too often) the plug may not be hot.

I find when I am using my small ECV I will have to recahrge it at least once, so If I am going to be eating or going to a show I will let it charge for a half hour or more. With my big ECV (rental size) I have never had any power problems.
