Charging privileges

Hello...we are staying on site for our first trip to DL next month (yay!). Which quick service restaurants offer the ability to charge using our tickets? I would like to bring Disney gift cards to pay at the hotel. I want to avoid carrying cash if possible. Thanks!

I don't think ANY restaurants give you the option to pay with your tickets. There are some places where you can charge to your room with your room key if you're staying on-site, but tickets aren't usable as currency.

This is what I meant to say. I am so used to using my magic band at WDW that I did know the exact wording to use at DL. Thanks!

You can charge to your onsite room using your room key anywhere in the park (except maybe food kiosks?).

Also you can specify which room keys charge. Normally kids keys don't but we had it added to DD16s key.

In the parks and at the resort hotels...anywhere that accept credit cards you can charge to to your room with a few minor exceptions. In DTD is it only Disney owned stores like World of Disney and a few others...none of the DTD restaurants have charging privileges.

Also, stop by the front desk with your gift cards each evening to pay off your account. They told me I could do it all at the end & I spent half an hour at the front desk on my last night getting the charges to my CC reversed so I could pay via GC. Save yourself the trouble, pay each night.

And yeah you can charge most everything to the room on your room key. (FYI they do ask for ID sometimes in the parks before allowing you to charge.)

Thanks everyone!! I did the same at WDW and paid each night at the hotel using gift cards. It's good to know that I can do the same at DL.
