When I go to settle my onboard account will I get a itemized paper of each persons charges?
I am wondering this because my niece that will be staying in my room but her Mom that is booked into another room is paying for her stuff she charges. So I guess my question is do I just pay it all since it is in my room on my card or can I have hers assigned to her mothers charge card? Does anyone understand what I am trying to say? Or is it easier just to put it all on my card and then me and her can settle it all later. :confused3

Thanks for the help!!

When your bill comes for your account, it will be itemized by person in the room. The charges are made according to Key Cards. Even if your child or neice does not charge, excursions are billed to each individual so she may have charges because of this also. You will have a total for your neice but the total amount charged to your room will be charged to your account and if you have a CC on account, to your CC.

She can have her KTTW card setup to go to her mothers credit card.

I have never had luck doing this...they always screw it up. I have cruised 2 times with my sisters in my room. We each put down our CC's so our charges would go there. They told us no problem...they swiped our cards... On the first, my sister's stuff got charged to my CC, she got charged nothing to her CC and on the second, everything got charged to my other sister's CC. You would think this is something simple, but apparently not for DCL. My advice? Just put it all to your card (to avoid frustration - cuz it will probably end up there anyway... :sad2: ) And have your sister reimburse you.

BTW, until our CC bills came in, we didn't realize what had happened each time, because they itemized it right to the right people and it didn't tell us what CC was going to get charged. We just assumed that the cards we gave them would be the ones that got charged.

can you just use cash or travlers check. do I have to use a credit card?

We put cash and disney dollars down at the start of the cruise with a credit card as backup in case we spent more than that. You could have your sister put cash/traveler's checks on your account for your niece.

i have been thinking of pre paying my onboard ship credit by 600 or so has anyone ever pre paid? also can they cap a certain card, ex i want to give my dtr charge priv, but no more then 50 per day

We opened up a cash account when we got onboard the ship (they won't let you do this at the Disney Terminal). I put only as much as I wanted to spend on our account and did not leave a CC for overages. At the last night of the cruise we got back our remaining $26! The woman at GS even remarked that they are not used to giving back money! :rotfl2:
