Charging back to our room at GCH

This will be our first trip staying onsite at the GCH. Once in the parks for the day, can I charge everything back to my room? Meals, snacks, and souvenirs? I'm thinking this will eliminate the need for always having cash or card on us during the day.

While inside the parks, you should be able to charge back to your room at any location that takes credit cards. Balloon vendors (and others without a cash register) may only accept cash.

Yes you can charge back to your room using your room key just about everywhere except for vendors that only take cash (only a few) and some spots in Downtown Disney. You can also have any purchases you make delivered to your room (usually by that night but by mid-morning of the next day in some cases). We always tour very lightly at DL especially when staying onsite because it's so convenient. Easier to have fun!

Yup, do it all the time. I charge EVERYTHING I can back to the room then just have on charge to contend with rather than having to carry enough cash or a zillion credit card charges.

Charge back privileges are only available for Disney Owned stores and locations...which means most of DTD you will still need cash or credit cards.
