Do u think that charecters and themes r dorky! I think that the amazing 3-D show is totally corny! :3dglasses The charecters act like we r all 2 years old I mean come on! ::MickeyMo The people who dress up as kid charecters are adults and then they always stop and talk to you parents and u hav to stand there and act there and act like u care! LATA!

Huh? I guess I see what you mean. But the whole character thing doesn't bother me. When you're in WDW, you're supposed to act like a kid again. :cheer2:

I don`t fully understand what you`re talking about... I love the characters, personally and I`m 15 :confused3

I think the characters are great and I'm 14. And even when you're not getting the characters autographs it's nice to see all the younger kids enjoying it. :goodvibes

Exactly! I don't care if people see me (14 years old) posing like a dork next to a character... it is all part of the disney magic!!! plus I love meeting the characters--except for the one time when I threw up at the fairy godmother in cinderella's castle  .... LUCKILY she was really nice. My mission is to get a picture with her this coming trip......

That`s so funny! ... I threw up in front of Minnie Mouse`s house when I was little, so don`t feel bad :rotfl2:

I love the characters!!!! I love standing next to them to get a photo. I don't care i look like a dork. When im in WDW or disneyland I don't care, im happy and that all that matters and my imagination has taken over :3dglasses . I still get there autographs, too. Last year i got a picture with captian hook. What would the parks be without the characters?

humm ... whoever started this thread stole my sn!!! and i have no idea what your talking about!

I love the characters. I'm almost 17 and I still love them... And my grandpa - who is 57 - when we went on the cruise he got his picture taken with EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER... Just goes to show, you are NEVER too old for characters. :teeth:

i love that 3d show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i am not trying to be mean or anything but this is a disney board you are suppose to like not call rides corny and say the chatacters stink cuz they don't
just saying

The charaters help the disney spirit! Without the themes and characters, WDW would just be a normal eveyrday theme park...

i love the characters, the only thing i dont like about the characters is that there is always a line to get their autographs, i would like it better if they didnt have like a set time and place to be somewhere and id rather them be just walking around the parks randomly. But it was cute when my baby twin cousins went for their first time last year i think they were like one, and Pooh just walked up to them and they got his autograph and picture taken, my aunt was almost about to cry(for one Pooh is her favorite character and it was just one of those magical moments that you love in disney) but i think that having a set time and place takes away from some of the magic.

Tip: ok instead of getting the autograph books to get autographs, me and my family go to a local fabric and crafts store and by like a plain shirt and fabric markers in different colors. and you bring those to the parks and have the charaters sign those. we also got like a plain canvas bag and had them sign that once. I think its cute and its pretty cheap and you can use them for actual things. Just a little tip i thought would be nice to share with everyone.

I really like that idea. Autographs books are kind of boring... But how cool would it be to have a shirt?! :cool1:
