What is the best breakfast for a 6 year old girl? We are going the week of Thanksgiving and I was thinking of taking her to Chef Mickey's but was wondering what other charater breakfasts are good. We won't be going into the park that day so it would have to be a breakfast at a hotel.

We did Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare and Cinderella's Royal table with my 6 year old daughter last year. Her favorite was 1900 Park Fare BY FAR.

1900 Park Fare. She will get to visit with Alice and the Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and Mary Poppins. Plus the food usually tastes better than Chef Mickeys. I love the strawberry soup there.

When my nephew was 5 turning 6 we did a breakfast bday celebration at Chef Mickey's, he absolutely LOVED it.

Two years later we took him to Crystal Palace and he enjoyed that too.

I think you know your daughter, take a look at the menus and character listings and see what she'd like. I told my nephew that Mickey had invited us to his restaurant, he was so excited and couldn't wait to get there! That was his first trip to WDW and it was the only character meal we did.

We've done Ohana with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey (in aloha shirt), and Pluto (or Goofy, don't remeber which one) that the kids loved (3, 7 & 13). We are doing Chef Mickey's in September, and I'd love to do Cape Mae at Beach Club with Donald and Goofy!

If she has a favorite character, I'd go to that restaurant.

My 7 yr old enjoyed

The Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot
Lilo and friends at the poly.

But the last trip we took we had all but one of our table services as Character Meals ( i was deprived as a child and never got to go to one, so we went slightly overboard last year... kids loved it )

We have done Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Cape May Cafe, and Tusker House. I think the kids will say that Chef Mickey's is their favorite, because of the character interaction and party-like atmosphere, I will say food-wise Tusker House is the best.

We went last December when my DD was 6. I asked her which was her favorite character breakfast (we did Crystal Palace, Ohana, Tusker House, Hollywood & Vine, Epcot's Princess Breakfast & Chef Mickey's) and she said Tusker House. She loved the buffet and the characters. They did a little parade around the restaurant. I know it's in a park, but this is the advice of my 6 year-old. So maybe consider it for an Animal Kingdom day if you are planning one.

As a little girl, she also likes the Princess Breakfast. But, Tusker House won hands down in her opinion.

Tusker House was mine and DH's favorite too!

As far as resort breakfasts go, since that was your question...
We also loved Ohana (tied for second with Epcot's Princess Breakfast). It was lots of fun and the food/fresh fruit was delicious. We probably won't go back to Chef Mickey's because the food was not as good. Great characters, rushed a bit, but the food was sub-par compared to all the others. We met most of those characters at other meals (except Minnie, which we met at meet and greets at Epcot and AK).

You can never go wrong with any of the character breakfasts (meals)! You're at Disney and your enjoying a good meal and meeting characters at the same time! It's a WIN, WIN, WIN! Enjoy your trip!
