I know I just made a thread like half an hour ago, but everyone at the Random thread inspired me! A lot of you guys are writing novels or stories and this is the thread that you can share descriptions of your characters and settings if you feel comfortable doing so.

...all the characters in my book, that I've gotten to so far. The bolded ones are the main characters.

I showed it to my friend and of course she asked me why I picked those names...

Brooklyn- After Brooklyn, New York
Brandon- I wanted to go with Brundon (from Night at the Museum 2) but figured Brandon would be simpler
Caroline- After North CAROLINa
Carson- I just really like that name
Riley- Again, I really like this name, for both genders. But I picked girl.
Taylor- Same as Riley
Tyler- I really like the name, and a good friend of mine is names Tyler.

But then she wanted to know about the other characters too :/

Alyssa- I picked a random name on facebook
Amy- I adore the name. Especially after readin Little Women
Emi- I don't like it that much... but it was the first thing to pop into my head
George- I wanted a name that would fit an old man.
Kendall- I was watching Big Time Rush when I picked his name
Marie Ann- I know someone names Ann Marie soo...
Paul- Because if I had a bodyguard, I'd want his name to be Paul
Sophia- I like it.
Tom- I dunno.

Brooklyn- Broken land

Brandon- little raven/broom hill

Caroline- beautiful woman/free

Carson- son of carr

Justin- just or true/righteous

Riley- a small stream/rye clearing

Taylor- tailor

Tyler- tile maker
