What characters don't sign autographs? I know Sully & Mike from Monster's Inc. at MGM don't, but what other characters don't sign autographs?

How can you find out what time the characters are in the parks and where can you find them?

Mr and Mrs incredible don't sign but have a stamper. It stamps their names. We just kinda winged the characters whoever we ran into and if they kids wanted to wait in line we did. Check when you get in the park at guest relations. That would be my best guess.

At MGM Buzz and Woody use a stamper. They are the only ones I can remember.

They have pamplets that tell when and where the characters will be. It is on the same one that has the times for the shows. We always pick up a couple with our park maps when we enter the park.

I feel really bad about this, but there is a website that has everything you could possibly want to know about the characters at WDW, including who appears where and when, and how they sign the autograph books. Unfortunatley, I am away from home on business right now, and do not have the name of the website with me. I know someone else on these boards knows the name, and will hopefully spot this thread and post it.

I actually had a woody sign ( not stamp) this last trip. Mushu may or may not sign. Beast from b+tb doesn't sign but Belle will sign for him if they are appearing together. Phil from Hercules doesn't but Meg will sign for him.

Woody at MK WILL sign. King Louie from Jungle Book doesn't sign.

Along with Buzz and Woody at MGM, Jesse the yodeling cowgirl stamps. By Al's Toy Barn.

Great site.

That's the one, Reggie, thanks for jogging my feeble mind! :teeth:

Thanks, ReggieB and mitros!!! :cloud9: :cloud9:

There are a bunch of non-signing characters out there wandering about Disney World! King Louie, Mike, Sully, Goliath the Lion, Carnataurus, Conniesaurus, Figment, Nemo (obviously!), and Bullseye never sign since their poor hands really can't hold a pen! Some obscure characters don't sign, like Goliath the Gargoyle, Walrus, Dumbo, Rolie Polie Olie, and Zowie. Stamping character include Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Buzz. Woody stamps at MGM but seems to sign at MK. Some characters are hit-or-miss if they will sign, like Mr. Penguin and Beast. Some characters have others sign for them, like Belle may sign for Beast, and maybe Jessie or Woody will sign for Bullseye (but I am not sure about that!). Whew! That was probably more info that you ever wanted to know! :teeth:

On our website, we list everywhere we seen the characters, and other places we heard they can be found. We are missing a few really rare characters (like Jane Porter, Brer Fox, Shang) but hopefully someday we will get them!! The actual best times to meet characters are very dependent on location. I personally find character-hunting best in the morning until early afternoon. The worst times to look for characters are the hour before/after the mid afternoon parades! Many (but not all) characters stop meeting then to go get ready for the parade. I usually head back to my room in the mid afternoon since there are hardly any characters out and I have no one to look for! And checking the Times Guide is always a great idea! :)

Hope you find all you are looking for!!!!!!!! :) :)

Thanks everyone for your help. Am bringing a couple of t-shirts down to see how many signatures I can get on them.

Jesse signed for us last month. I guess it can vary! :paw:

Would I be a lame mommy if I took the autograph book from our last trip and had dd just concentrate on getting autographs she didn't get on the first trip to finish filling up her book, or should I just buy a new book and let her go wild again, lol!

What's a good age to start the autograph book? My daughter will be almost 2.5, but I'm not sure if she would really be into the signing. Definately the pic taking! What do you think?

Buzz Lightyear stamped and Woody and Jesse signed last time we were there. I guess it depends on how busy they are.

That's what we're doing. :flower: Maybe you should ask your DD what she would like though. :)

The Incredibles signed when we were there - in Nov. 2004, right when the movie came out. I can't remember if Frozone signed. And I think it may have been Mrs. Incredible signed for both. I'll have to check when I get home! (I'm away on business - but in 2 weeks I'll be in WDW!)
