My daughter is an athlete heading out of state to compete for her college. It will be difficult for family/friends to see her compete over the next few years and so I have created a "fan" book for her. (Photo's of family/friends dressed in her college's gear wishing her good luck.)

I have a CyclONE Nation Fan flag, I could easily fold up and carry with me. Will I be able to get Mickey to pose with the flag to include in her "Swim FANatics" book? Maybe a little silly, but I thought it would make a great last page of her book surprise! Are characters allowed to pose with "branded" items?

Last year, my DH had a sign that said Clemson #1 and posed with his fave Donald duck. Donald held up 1 finger for the pic. We didn't ask him to hold it, but I'm sure he would have! I think your idea is cute!

I've never asked a character to hold something either, but it's worth noting that not all characters have "hands" that can easily hold small/thin things. The face characters should be fine (if it's allowed), but some of the head characters might be more difficult. I only say this because I went to meet Figment once (yes, when "Fig-Zilla" was still in Epcot) and his hands were so bulky he needed help to stamp and autograph book.

I had a college friend who passed away from cancer. Her family set up a foundation in her name. Her favorite character was Winnie the Pooh. I asked Winnie's handler at the Crystal Palace if Winnie would hold up the shirt with the foundation's name on it. Winnie held it up without a problem.
