Characters on Main Street

When we went to Disneyland a few years ago I remember a lot of characters at the beginning of Main Street when the park first opened. This last time we were rushing to get to get on all the rides because we had teens with us who were in a hurry. We didn't really notice if they still do this, is it worth taking our time on Main Street at opening?

Some occassionally. I've seen Mickey and Minnie at night, some villians in the afternoon, Mary Poppins and Bert in front of the castle and around the hub. I think they mostly stick to their respective areas now. You can always check at City Hall for meet n greet times and locations.

We have always seen characters up front by City hall when we have gone - mostly during the summer. We always saw Mickey, sometimes Goofy and maybe Minnie in the morning. Mary Poppins and Bert usually show up in the late morning.

Right now they have Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale and Goofy out in their Halloween costumes. There are only a couple out at a time. One is usually in front of the Hat shop on Main Street and the other is on the other side near the fire station or in the center plaza.

We saw Mary Poppins & Bert come out on to Main Street but I think they were headed towards the entrance. Curella DeVille was out at the entrance the other day as well.

Last week we saw Chip & Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Cruella during the day time near the entrance. Minnie & Mickey in Halloween outfits were out in the evening.

Last week (Wed.) we found Goofy in his skeleton costume over by City Hall once and in the front-in front of the Mickey landscaping/tink display. Both times there was a PP photographer there as well.

Last Monday we got in and saw Chip and Dale,pluto, Goofy, Minnie and Mickey..all in their halloween costumes.

Chip and Dale were in the center part of the main entrance...Pluto was by City Hall and the Fire Station...Goofy was by the Opera House Minnie wasnt out yet...saw them on Thurs while we waited for the Parade.

This July Cruella was over near the bank late morning. We saw Minnie in the lobby of the GCH. There was only one little girl who saw her. We were with teens too so characters for us either.

Yesterday we say Goofy, Chip, and Pluto in front of the Opera House/Hat Store. This was early in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon we saw Mickey at the entrance area. They were all in costume.

My grandma, mom, and i were all disapointed at that not many charecters where out when we went last october. Its nothing like when we were all younger ..... they should bring all the diffrent charecters out again more often!!!

Main Street usually has a lot of characters first thing in the morning. Well even throughout the day. The most common ones you see all year at the front entrance are "Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Donald (Occasionally), Cruella Du Ville is often seen. Mary Poppins and Bert are usually at the end of main street, as well you can possibly catch Alice and the Mad Hatter Playing musical chairs with the kids.
