Characters in kids clubs

Hi! I've read that sometimes characters stop by in the kids clubs. Do they ever stop by the nursery, too? My 2.5 yo is obsessed with giving characters hugs, and would love any visits!

Also, do Darth Vader or the Storm troopers ever stop by unannounced? We are not on a star wars cruise, and I know my 4 yo would be terrified if he saw Darth Vader unexpectedly!

Only time we've seen SW characters were on the SW cruises. Never used the nursery.

Not sure how regularly it happens but last cruise when DH went to pick up DD from the nursery Cinderella was in there. I've never done a Star Wars cruise and never seen any SW characters on DCL

You can see on the navigators when they do the star wars activities in the kids club. Just avoid those times.

On non-SWDAS cruises, you will not meet SW characters roaming around. Stormtroopers will appear in the kids club, but not elsewhere on the ship.

They absolutely do stop by the nursery. I know that my daughter saw Micky, Minnie, and Pluto at different times. And once when I went to pick up Belle was reading the toddlers a story. I mean come on now with the cuteness.

That sounds so cute! Do they take pictures? I'd love to see my younger two being read to by princesses!

And thanks for the heads up re: Stormtroopers. We will keep our oldest out of the club at that time!

100% the characters stop by in the nursery... but I think Darth Vader won't! LOL!!! (We did a Star Wars cruise and he didn't, as far as we know!)
You can tell the counselors ahead of time if you think they might be afraid... they will whisk your little one into another room while the characters visit, or you can even request they do this with a specific character. Our now oldest was terrified of Captain Hook when she was 2.. they handled it very well. On the other hand she spent a ton of time with Ariel (and yes, we got a picture!) !

Edit; I see you're not on a Star Wars cruise - those characters will NOT be on board then!

We’ve cruised with littles several times and they have visited with characters during nursery time. Those events were never publicly scheduled, so we did not know when or if it would be going on. No frightening characters...I believe they once saw Snow White and another time Minnie.

We received a printed photo of the interaction on two separate occasions. No charge, but not on our photo account either. Otherwise, no photos are allowed in the kids areas.
