Characters In Flight Hot Air Balloon

Has only been on the new Characters In Flight Hot Air Balloon at Downtown Disney? Was wondering what the prices were, how was it, how high does it go, was it worth it, etc. We'll be going down in a few weeks and may look into it.

i will ride it on sunday i hope if weather permits it goes up to 300 to 400 ft depending on the wind $16 adults $10 for children for a 10 minute ride

We haven't done it, but I'm thinking about it during our next trip in Sept.

You are supposed to rise to 400 feet. The cost will be $16.00 for adults, children 3-9 will be $10.00 These prices include tax.

sorry i tried but i never was able to ride Characters In Flight Hot Air Balloon
Ok i went to Disney world from april 24-may 5 i went to DTD everyday to take my flight the balloon was only up 3 times on my trip and all 3 times i got in line once i even boarded all all 3 times my flight was canceled because of wind i was so disappointed but i will try again next trip

ohhhh we were there april 1st when it first took flight and my son refused to leave the ground on april fools day!
we are going back in august and taking my DMIL, her bday is in july and i am having the creative disign board create a card for her, saying she is going up in the balloon for her bday present....we cant wait!

We have been to DW 15+ times and always looking for something new to do.
Next Disney trip in 16 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back and our room at SSR looked over the balloon . We never saw it leave the ground . My DH said he thought it was a trick LOL
