Characters at the Resorts

I hope someone can help me out.
The week before Christmas will some characters visits the DVC resorts?
I thought I seen it online, but I can't find much information about it.

There were characters at The Boardwalk lobby the weekend before Christmas this year and in the lobby on the 23rd and Christmas Eve at AKV Jambo. Hope that helps!

There should be characters at the resort and Santa and Santa Goofy at DTD(not sure which dates they are there). In 2012 I stayed at SS the week of Christmas and they had Mickey in his Christmas attire.

Thanks so much. My kids would love to see them at the hotel.
I might change my dates to 12/12 to 12/21. Maybe we can catch them the day before we leave. I booked during Thanksgiving, but my family really loves to spend the holiday at home. Then coming home and having Christmas, that might be the best trip.
