Characters at the Hotel New York

Hi

Can someone please tell if there are characters at the hotel new york. If so are they similar to DLH, where the characters appear at breakfast time and also throughout the hotel during the day.

When we were there in Dec, they had meet n greet sessions in the morning (think it started at 8 or 8.30?!) and there're usually a couple of characters around (they alternate every half hour). Pluto was running around as well one evening (after we came back from the parks/dinner) - that was quite nice as was unexpected. There's a board as you enter the hotel where they have a list of times & characters for the next day (or current day if you're early enough).

They don't do the 4pm character dance thing like they do at DLH.

When we stayed at HNY the first week of Feb this year, we saw Pluto twice and Goofy (who was in a special "tuxedo" costume) one day in the lobby.

As previous post said, there is a board as you enter the hotel telling you who and when.

Just back and we had Mickey and Pluto every morning (starting at 8am), and Pluto in evening attire on the Sunday evening.

What exactly happens in the DLH hotel at 4pm and do you have to stay there to see it???

We stayed in December for 8 nights and we had Goofy in his tuxedo, Goofy in his regular outift, Pluto, Mickey and Minnie in the mornings at different times. Goofy also made an appearance one night in his Santa suit, it was very cute.

The same characters would be on in the Empire State Club for breakfast upstairs, so we always knew who would be downstairs when we went to the parks as they had been up at Breakfast.
