Characters at LeCellier?

My sister has a reservation at LeCellier for her upcoming trip in March. Today she called Disney to confirm her reservations and ADRs. The cast member told her that, by the end of March, LeCellier will be a character meal featuring Lady Tremaine and Cinderella's Stepsisters.

At first, I thought my sister was mistaken because she also has ADRs for the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fair, and I've heard the stepsisters sometimes appear there. But my sister said the CM was very clear that they were talking about LeCellier. She commented that it's already difficult to get reservations for LeCellier and she expects that it will be even *more* popular now.

I have not been able to find anything online that talks about a LeCellier character meal (my sister is wondering about the menu and the cost, but didn't think to ask the CM). Has anyone heard about it, or shall we assume that the CM was misinformed/my sister misunderstood?

It seems odd to me that they'd make it a character meal since it's already one of the hottest reservations going -- and Lady Tremaine/Stepsisters seem like an odd choice for LeCellier, I think.

Le Cellier is not a character meal venue. I don't think there are ANY character meals that are not buffets or fixed-price meals. I think I'd write this one off as incorrect information.

Thanks, that's what I thought, too. (My sister assumed that, if it indeed becomes a character meal that the menu would change to fixed-price or buffet, but she didn't know what the menu would be or what it would cost. That's part of the reason I was on the lookout for info.)

I don't really see how they could pull it off. Le Cellier is very small inside. It would be hard for characters to get around in there from table to table.

Imagine if they switched the menu to a buffet now, when people have been holding reservations forever...I don't want to be anywhere near Epcot when people might show up and find out.

I will be P*$$ed. we have ressies for 2 different nights when we go in April. we are going as a group of 9(dinner) and then again as a group of 4(lunch). I like buffets but I wanted to try this restaurant the way it is..not a buffet!

Sounds like the CM your sister talked to got 1900 Park Fair confused with LeCellier.
