Characters at Halloween Party?

Well, my darling boyfriend has decided that since he stood me up for the trip last month we are going back in October for the first Halloween Party.

So I've been digging through Halloween party topics all morning and I'm still none (okay, not much) the wiser.

I see a the statement "lots of characters out, a lot who are not normally out too". But I've only found photos of the villains mainly, so I am not sure if the second part refers to them.

Can someone give me ideas who to expect out? Boyfriend doesn't like it when I get bouncy when I see a character I really wasn't expecting to see. So an advance warning is needed there if possible.

October 7, so the Not so Scary Halloween party one.
Sorry, I thought "first party" was enough. Of course the large Halloween party would be the first (and only) of its kind too.

we were at the first MNSSHP last year - we saw Jasmine and Abu, Mary Poppins and Bert, Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Lady Tremaine and the ugly sisters, and Mickey in Fantasyland. At the entrance to POTC was Captain Jack, and in Frontierland we met Donald and Daisy, and Jack and Sally. All of these characters hung around in their areas for a good couple of hours I'd say, on and off from 8pm.

During the days we'd seen Maleficent, Snow White's Hag (very scary ) Dr Facilier of course, Governor Radcliffe, and I'm pretty sure Jafar (although my DD won't go anywhere near him!) all around Phantom Manor. Jack and Sally had their own meet n greet spot in daytime.

Oh I nearly forgot the best bit!!!

The characters from the special hub stage show for MNSSHP all took part in the Cars n Stars cavalcade down Main St USA at the end of the night, and there was a huge meet n greet around the bandstand area for ages! We met Esmerelda and Clopin then, but there must have easily been 30 characters to chase .

Oh good! Let's hope the cast remains the same then cause Abu definitely has "arms flailing around madly and making happy noise" level.

Yes, that are I am definitely looking forward to most. I so hope Facilier is out again. I've already told my boyfriend I'll park my butt in that area and won't move. Well maybe I'll move if he sends the chipmunks to pick me up.

That one I read about and it's definitely a must do for me. Esmeralda and Clopin are even above Abu in happiness level.
And this running around part is what I actually enjoy most. I was so in heaven when the villains were still walking around in Halloween Backlot in California Adventure in Disneyland Anaheim.

So note to boyfriend: I'll keep the room key, if you want to get in you better keep up. LOL
