So we have never done Epcot with the kids. I have heard that the lines to see the characters are much better than Disney? Also where would I find the princesses? I know I have read they are in different countries?
I want to take the kids to Epcot this year!

We prefer to meet them at EPCOT, but sometimes the lines can also be long.. We actually take our kids first thing to meet Mickey and gang at character connection after rope drop. You have the princess at the Ackerhus Storybook meal in Norway. I have seen Mulan and Mushu at China, Snow White and Dopey at Germany, Alladin, Jasmine, and Gennie at Morocco, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Beast at France, Marry Poppin, Alice, Pooh and friends at United Kingdom. Again, these are the ones that I have seen and they change all the time. To get a good idea who may be there and what times talk to a CM if there is a specific one. Hope this helps.

My kids love Epcot!

In the countries, you can find:
Snow White & Grumpy in Germany
Mulan & Mushu in China
Belle & the Beast and Aurora in France
Alice, Mary Poppins, Pooh and Tigger in UK
Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie in Morocco
Donald Duck in Mexico

The characters in the countries take breaks, so if you don't see them ask a CM when to expect them. If you get a heads up on when they are coming out, you can try to hit the line just right. The lines don't seem to get that long.

You didn't say the ages of your kids. Do the kidcot stations in the countries and the passport.

Thanks for the info! My kids are dd 7 1/2 , DS almost 6 and youngest is 2.
I really want them to see Mickey, then my dd wants to see at least a princess or two!
Last year we did Mickey at Magic Kingdom and it was a very long line, then the princess line was forever.

It's actually Dopey with Snow White. :)

You can also see Mickey, Pluto, and one of the others (could be Goofy, Donald, or Minnie) at Innovations West in the afternoon if you have a Disney Visa.:thumbsup2

I can't remember what country we were in, but a couple of weeks ago we were walking around and there was little little alley to the side that had Mickey, Goofy, Brer Bear and one of Cinderella's mice (in purple and pink). I was surprised to see them there and hardly any people in line to see them.

That would be in AA. And there probably were no lines because it is an unscheduled meet.

We saw Max (Goofy's son), Ballou and Stitch near the fountain last week. The stitch line was long, but we got Max and Ballou's autographs very quickly. My ds7 was super excited about the Max sighting because we've never run into him before. On the same day we saw the Genie in Morocco and the Beast in France. We've always had good character experiences in Epcot.

The big fountain right before WS? We would love to see Max.

We haven't been here but planning to in our next trip. Thanks for the informations, my kids will definitely enjoy the experienced. I'm excited again.:rotfl2:

Have a nice day everyone. :)

I think it might have been just past the big fountain as your heading toward WS. It was on our right. I had never seen characters there before. It was on a Wednesday at about 11:00 am.

We were at the Character Stop at the front part of Epcot last Friday and the wait to see Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald was an hour.

Went to the countries and in China saw that little red dragon, no wait. Dopey was a 20 minute wait and Prince Ali, Jasmine and the Genie had a 45 minute wait

The Character Stop in Epcot was worth the wait because we got so many characters right in a row, plus we caught Belle on her way elsewhere at the end. Everyone we saw at the World Showcase was a bonus.
