Characters at downtown disney

Has anyone ever seen any of the characters at Downtown Disney??????

No, I have never seen any characters in DTD.

Back in 2001, there was a place called Studio M where you could have your photo taken with Mickey. Unfortunately, it's gone now. I am unaware of any character meeting opportunities outside of meeting Santa during the holiday season. Sorry. Maggie

Oh, we've seen lots of characters just not the kind you're asking about. Sorry - I couldn't resist.

Seriously - no disney characters, but there are some fun photo ops IMO. We like the Lego store large figures and there's winnie-the-pooh characters on a log (I think outside the winnie the pooh store). There's also a large dalmation in the dog store. Oh, world of disney and the toy store have good picture taking areas, too.

In terms of meet-and-greet characters, there have been a couple who met briefly at Once Upon A Toy Store in DownTown Disney. I think the Disney Bear was there at one time, and maybe a greetable Mr. Potato Head (but not sure about that! Some CM said that he was there once). But these characters are very rare and were probably out only a handful of days at best, and this was not recently. Sadly I haven't heard of any "regular" characters meeting anywhere at DownTown Disney anytime recently, either. Would be nice, though!

a long long time ago, back when downtown disney was still "Disney Village", there was a character breakfast on the Empress Lily ... I seem to remember the Fab Five (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald) being available for pictures and autographs. (of course, the Empress Lily is now long gone, having had it's paddle wheel removed, and signage changed to read "Fulton's Crab House")

yes, i remember in 93 when I went I ate there..... not sure where about it was but I know it was at DTD. (just looked it up.... Rainforest is now where it use to be walt dated world )

The only chacter that is there now year after year is Santa Clause from Novemberish to December 24th.
