characters at CBR

We're leaving for Disney in a couple of weeks and I was told that sometimes there are character sightings at some of the resorts. Can anyone tell me if any character was spotted at CBR or if they visit on a regular basis? Just curious. Thanks!! We can't wait for the magic.

I have seen the characters at the Poly, Cont. and GF. They pulled up in a small speed boat onto the beach. I haven't stayed very often at the CBR but I thought that since they have done away with the early mornings in the parks I hear they have a character caravan the goes with various characters to the resorts in the AM. I think you would have to call the resort to get the latest on this. My kids are older and they don't care about the characters any more. I saw a ton of characters at all the parks when I was there last week. I figured it was due to the lovely wheather. They have a large bus that pulls up in the gateway to the world at scheduled times for an autograph session with a bunch of characters too.

We saw 4 characters on two different mornings at CBR when we came out of Old Port Royale after having breakfast at the food court. It was around 8 or 8:30 and I can't recall the exact characters, one from Lion King, either Pluto or Goofy, one from Robin Hood, and I totally forget the other one.
Sorry to be so fuzzy on details, but our sons are in their 20's and 30's -- so we didn't pay too much attention!
They were on the patio area outside the food court, signing autographs. It was our first experience with the character caravan and since we preferred early entry, we didn't think it was so great.
