I have recently added an ADR for a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. In two other trips this is the first time we will a dining with face characters! Anyway, I know that the characters here change often. How often do they change and who are the current characters?

I have to say that I'm somewhat nervous about doing a dining with face characters, since they actually talk. As we are adults, what can/do you say to the characters?

Thanks so much!

I'm also doing 1900 for breakfast during my next trip in Sept. To my understanding (and I hope that I'm correct) for breakfast it is Mary Poppins/ Alice in Wonderland characters... which I am very excited about. According to the dining page of this website, it's called the 'Supercalifragilistic Breakfast'.

We go there for breakfast every trip. The characters have always been the same. We were just there in June. Mary Poppins is in the lobby taking pictures and signing autographs. Inside the dining area there was Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Winnie The Pooh and Tigger. :)

In my opinion Mary Poppins takes her formal British role very seriously(think victorian school marm)...but she does look beautiful, and she does interact with all children. Adults I think it is a call...do the parents want to be interacted with???, and then she decides if she will aproach you-you can always approach her when she arrives at your table. The mice are not face...and are very sweet, and my fave is the penguin...great job. Alice was good too-but we had no Mad Hatter-and our Mary wis in the restaurant. They must rotate locations. There were a few other characters, and we also had a wonderful Cinderella one night too.
I think the food is great there...and IMO..not as loud(or crazy in a good way) like CM is. I have DEC ADR's all set for Christmas Breakfast!!! :cloud9:

We were there in June for breakfast. Mary Poppins was outside taking pictures and inside were Alice, the Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh. Mad Hatter had fun making silly faces and acting "crazy" (my dh had fun with him), Alice was very pleasant and just posed for pics., Mary Poppins was very formal and had many things to say from the movie. It was a great breakfast. The food was delicious, and the interaction was fantastic.
