Characters and dining in MK

Are the characters ever changed at the Liberty Tree Tavern and Crystal Palace? Or are they always the same? I've been to the CP but not the LTT. Does anyone have a preference between the two?

They have been the same every time we've been. Compare the two? It's hard, CP having more choices, LTT the characters our DD likes more. The food is really good at both. I don't think you can go wrong.

We much prefer the food at CP. But the family-style service at LTT makes it easier to catch all the characters (at CP if you are up getting food, they skip you - and depending on the spacing of the characters, it can make it hard to get food). Did you look at the menus online to see which appeals more to your family? We would choose Garden Grill over both of those, but that it is in Epcot, not MK.
