Here's information on the character breakfast at Islands of Adventure, from the link http://themeparks.universalstudios.com/orlando/website/what_new.html:

Have breakfast at Islands of Adventure with Spider-Man® and the Cat in the Hat Wednesdays through Sundays from park opening to 10:30 a.m. at Confisco Grille. The breakfast is $15.95 for Adults and $9.95 for children, plus tax and gratuity. Call 407-224-4012 for reservations.

We did this last summer and loved it. The character interaction was awesome. Spidey was with our son for about 15 minutes. After he walked away, Cat and Thing 1 and 2 came over. The food was so so, but the experience was awesome. I would definitely do this again!

I just called and booked this breakfast yesterday for August 27. Took a while for the person answering the phone to find out if they were booking that far in advance. guess I'm just used to having to book Disney meals at the 90 day window . Anyway, lookinf forward to trying this as i have read some great reviews.

I've gotten the run around when I book in advance too, but they can do it. I think they are just not use to booking that far out. I plan way in advance so I know how you feel.

If you eat the breakfast buffet, be wise and don't ride the Hulk Roller Coaster afterwards! Digest for a short time in Posideon's Fury or a similar show.
