well, I now have 24 stitches to cut out.. (what was I thinking? :) ) of course, haven't started the squares... that's another "what was I thinking" I think. :) oh well, one group at a time right? :) maggie

Maggie! Funny you should post about "our committments". I was starting my frames, and only signed on to boards to find the "final count".

My biggest problem stems from my creative perspective. I do, redo, want everyone to like... so tweak some more.

If I could just peanut butter and jelly it :rolleyes2 I'd be just fine! But noooo
I have to PB&J and mae little shaped sandwiches and make sure the jelly isn't oozing out, but enough for everybite..

I'm done :flower3: I did re-do my squares, I didn't like the first ones, so I threw them out!!!

Well what helped me is get a good addicting tv show on DVD... hours will fly before ya know it-- even when you have to sew on a bizzillion buttons that the needles wont fit through... :)

I feel your pain..LOL!!!

I'm on my third "model" for tags. When I first started out I had all these cute ideas and wrote them down. Well, as time has gone by, I've wandered away a bit from my original ideas. I had to look back Saturday to see what I had in mind in the first place. So after several color idea changes, I've got them all cut out and almost assembled, so I guess I'm committed to what is in the works.

I've got the paper ready for the mats. I just hope I don't have as many "creative adjustments" to my original plans on that one! I've got to learn to just stick with the plan. :rolleyes1

I have the shaker boxes all planned out - but am at a loss for the boxes and tags!
:earseek:
I guess that's what I get for not picking someone easy like Donald Duck! :confused3

No I didn't post on twopeas. . . but I will if you want me to!!

I couldn't rest until they were done!! :earseek: I guess I have an obsession, huh?!? Too bad the rest of my life doesn't run this smoothly!!! :confused3

Jackie.. post away! I'd love to see what you came up with... and so quickly even! Like you, I love my Sizzix! :teeth:

OMG! Jackie! They are beautiful! Snow White is MY FAVORITE!
Now I feel like mine are gonna be on the "Primitive side" Hmmm I got "sum sinking" to do :rotfl:

Cute, cute, cute!! (That's my favorite word, ya know!)

I can't wait till this swap is sent out! I'm ready to see all this neat stuff!

Jackie, Fabulous as always!!!

I just did 20 double matted photo mounts last night....and I am very pleased with how they turned out (I know, I know,,,,24....I ran out of paper but bought more today)

...and actually, they are all different, but variations on the same...LOL...as I was doing them, I kept saying "well, what if I did it this way or added that" so there will definitely be a variety :rolleyes1 .

Question.....I have a new printer, scanner, fax, copier HP 6210 ,,,,waiting for a USB cable.....Can I run card stock thru the printer? It seems a little thick but the way this printer feeds the paper, it seems doable...has anyone done this before?
TIA

I use cardstock in my printer all the time without any problem. And Jackie, I really like your pieces!!

Thanks LI Twigs! I heard it was a MAD HOUSE! at Mikes today,,,I was at the more sedate ACMoore  but they had cardstock for $0.10 and what with making 48 double matted photo thingys and 48 journaling boxes,,,I need a LOT of paper :earboy2:

BTW, they are opening Dollar Trees in Mastic and Patchogue...but I think you live further in????

Thanks guys!!! Whew! I'm glad you like them, I wasn't so sure?!? :goodvibes (Each of mine are a bit different, too . . . the buttons!)

I, too, put cardstock into the printer and have never had a problem. (Also vellum and transparencies!) I printed the picture of Snow White and the lyrics on vellum.

Last night I printed on that "extra thick" mulberry paper. That worked good also, except that when I wet the paper to tear it (AFTER I printed, DUH!!) the water "drifted" over into the words an smeared a little. Hey! It was late!!!

Wow...everything looks great!!!

I can't wait to get everything and start my pages. I am still waiting for the eyelets, as soon as they come I will ship them off!!!

My song lyric is done...yay! Now I am off to do the toppers. I love having a free day! Happy Easter everyone!

I love your Stitch and your squares!

I've got to get the photo mats done now. I found some new paper I want to use for them this weekend.
