We will be at Universal for 4 days in August and my (soon-to-be) six year old son is a huge Super-hero fan. We will do the Spiderman breakfast (how soon can this be reserved?) But I was wondering, where and when is the best place to see / meet the X-Men?

Several times during the day, there is a mini-parade in Marvel Superhero Island, where the superheros drive out on cool ATV's. You can check your guide map for the times when you are there. I believe that the only X-Men I have seen are Wolverine, Storm and Rogue. The others are Spiderman and Captain America. I'm pretty sure that's all of them. Dr. Doom and Hobgoblin used to come out also but I don't think they do anymore. After they ride their ATV's, they each stand in a specific location and will sign autographs and pose for photos.

Other than the parade, we saw Spiderman running around outside his ride early in the morning (i.e. 10:30 ish) twice. The area was very sparsely populated in February at that time.

Spiderman does a photo shoot and autograph meet and greet, in the store across the street from the Spiderman ride. I believe the store is named Alterniverse. He is there several hours a day. But he's not really an x-man, is he?

OK, I talked to my son who works at Marvel Super Hero area in Islands of Adventure:

Wolverine, Cyclops, and Storm are the regular characters for meet and greet. Occasionally there will be some others also. The parade runs almost every hour. Check the park guide for times. The meet and greet is where the parade stops near Alterniverse (across from Spiderman ride). The characters will be there for exactly 22 minutes (after the parade ends) for autographs, pictures, etc.
