Character Questions

HI,
I'm putting together an autograph book for our upcoming trip to DLR. I have a few character questions:

Am I correct that Darth Vader no longer meets at all?

The only meet for the Disney Visa M&G is Kylo Ren, correct?

Russell no longer meets?

Does Dug still meet?

Flynn Rider?

Here is my current list, am I missing anyone I should include? (I will have blank pages also...) We are doing Minnie's breakfast, so I'm trying to include those characters as well...

DCA has their own Visa M&G, it was Daisy last time we went but I think a few rotate.

No Russell, not sure about Dug but we have not seen him at the Challenge Course.

Flynn meets with Rapunzel at the outside Fantasy Faire area now.

Your list looks pretty comprehensive (including some that you might not see). For the "regular" characters, if you're looking at the app over a few days, you can make sure you catch everyone. The Minnie characters vary and they've been sending out a fair amount of "specials" lately, so I'd suggest having a random page, maybe one with just a castle picture or something, so if you happen into someone unexpected you have somewhere for them to sign!

You have Sofia but not Doc or Jake. Depending on the day, they can be around, too.

Thank you! I can't believe I missed Doc McStuffins! My daughter would have had a melt-down over that one. Doc's one of her favorites.

You've listed pretty much all of the characters that have been seen (some frequent, some not as frequent) throughout the parks and at Minnie's throughout the past few weeks. A couple you could add include Buzz, the Evil Queen, and Meeko (sometimes spotted with Pocahontas). Folks also recently spotted some of the Country Bears as well as Tweedledee and Tweedledum, although we haven't had luck spotting them.

Louis no longer meets at the Mark Twain (his M&G appearances as well his role in the Soundsational parade have been suspended due to the tragedy at WDW).

Thor no longer meets (I'm pretty sure they haven't brought him back since the Marvel M&G moved to DCA).

I've only seen Mulan at special events (unless she appears at Ariel's Grotto). And Piglet is as rare as you can get at DLR.

I'm sorry to hear that. We were really looking forward to meeting him. I hope they put him back before our November trip.

Piglet has been at Pooh Corner before, of course he finished before I got to the front of the line. We've seen Mulan as you enter the park before, and at Ariel's.

Thor is gone *sob*. DD7 assures me it's because he's filming his movie and he'll be back.

We've seen Buzz along Paradise Pier a few times. I've seen Evil Queen by the castle.

I am looking for autograph pages for Joy, Sadness, Max (Goofy's son), Prince Naveen, Jack Skellington and Sally to match what we use.

Since I am requesting autograph cards, it's only fair for me to share what I have compiled over the past few years. I have uploaded a handful but it will take me a few days to find time to upload all of them since I have about 150.

Your list looks like a good one. I've also made quite a few books for our various trips. A few notes that might help. Woody, Jessie & Buzz alternate for photos by TSMM in DCA, usually there's an overlap of about 5 mins while 2 are out together which is fun. Buzz is unable to autograph because of his robot hands, but nice to have a page for photos if you'll put them in later. Tinkerbell is always at Pixie Hollow often with one other fairy friend, but if your binding your book, you may want to have a Tink page and general "fairy" page so you don't have a lot of blanks. Also my daughter loved meeting Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Chip & Dale in different places and different costumes (Town Square, ToonTown, Buena Vista Street, Minnie's at Plaza Inn) so although you'll have blank pages you might want a couple duplicates of these ones. Hope you have fun! Often the characters really comment on homemade autograph books so fun for the interaction.

Great list but you have a couple of longshots for DLR. Gepetto, Honest John, Pinocchio, Mr. Penguin for example are rare.

I see Pinocchio in town square more often than Piglet or Rabbit are out in Pooh Corner. I've seen Honest John twice this summer moving between Plaza Inn and FL, so he's out, but probably only when it's very, very crowded.

Gepetto and Honest John I've never seen at DLR except at Minnie's Breakfast at the Plaza Inn. Most of the others, it kind of depends on the day. We saw The Queen moving down the path along by the Wishing Well one day, but there were never any M&Gs for her after that one day. Your list is going to be really hit-or-miss - it's going to be tough to hit all of those characters. We did a one-day "try for all of the PhotoPass pix we can get" that was character-heavy, and really didn't do so well with it.

I'd say definitely go for the characters who won't likely be around forever - Nick and Judy, especially (they are super fun!)

I'm with you on that. I'm going in december and I really really hope Nick and Judy are still around. Top prio for me. First day, first action before anything else.

Nick and Judy did not sign when we saw them in July.

Kylo Ren and Chewbacca do not sign.

I just asked a friend who was in DCA 2 weeks ago and they didn't sign. I think it's safe to say they don't sign

They did sign for about 2 days when they started meeting. I met them the second day and got signatures. At some point after that they stopped, when I went back the fourth day it was no signatures anymore.
