Character Premier store in St Augustine

I never see this store listed on any of the outlet listings. It's just off I-95 on the east side of the highway. We stopped last year on the way home and bought a bunch of pins for $5 or less, a frame for half of waht I paid in the park, some shirts for $3. DH called yesterday to make sure they are still going to be open during our May trip and they told him their lease isn't up until 2011. I am making plans to stop there before we get to Orlando this year so I can stock up on more pins (never have enough of those.........) and see what other park merchandise we can get on the cheap.

I just called and confirmed they will be open three weeks from today when we are passing by at 9 am. They said they are only 1/4 of a mile off of 95. PERFECT!

I'm happy I could help at least one person. We were really surprised to see it on our way home last year. I used to live in Jacksonville and don't remember the outlet store being in St Augustine when we lived there. I would've been in there all the time if it was.

That store has been there for several years. I lived in SE GA, moved to VA in 2001, and it was there before I left. I always find some good things in there, and love to stop there on my way to and from WDW.

We usually stop there when we go to St. Augustine every couple of years. I've found some great deals.

How does this store(in St. Augustine) compare to the Character Premier across I-4 from Disney World(the one at the outlets on Vineland)? Is it larger, does it have more/different things? I usually make a trip to the one on Vineland each trip, but I drive right past the one in St. Augustine on my way to/from Disney, so I could stop there if they have different items. I visited the Disney Store outlet in Pigeon Forge last year, and was not impressed. I also found a small store right past Vineland, on 535, on the left about a mile before you get to the Walmart near Walt Disney World. It was located in a small outlet strip, and it had some scrapbooking items I did not see at the outlet store on Vineland. This was two years ago, so I'm not sure it's still there. I haven't been to the outlets on I-Drive in years, so I don't know what their selection is like anymore. I am looking for a particular item that I haven't been able to find anywhere on property for a friend's daughter, but I refuse to pay ebay prices. Maybe I'll get lucky at an outlet store!

Does anyone know if this store in St. Augustine is still open?

We are planning a trip down A1A this winter (January), starting in St. Augustine and are planning on stopping there.

Also, has anyone noticed if these Character stores sell Disney's Vero Beach merchandise? We are planning on stopping there for a couple of nights and I read on another board, there isn't much in the way of 'souvenirs' there.

The store is still open at least it was when I was there in September. They had a really nice selection as well. I was able to get a Disney Prescious Moments Ornament (A little boy reading in a chaor with Piglet and Eeyore) for $15 and that is cheap. They had a good selection of tees and sweatshirts at good prices.

I found their selection comparable to the one in Orlando.

We were there in October and did not find much. Just found a few items for my friends kids, but nothing else.
Great store, great employees. The store was empty when we were there.
We stopped in GA. on our way down, got up and into St Augustine right when they opened.

Hope y'all can find some better stuff than us.

Last time I was there it seemed like they had a lot of cloths. Mostly T-shirts and sweatshirts. It's kind of hit or miss, like the ones in Orlando - sometimes you luck out and they have a lot of cool stuff, sometimes not.

I was just there on Saturday! This store is a must do for me on each trip to WDW, sometimes I find tons of great deals and sometimes there just isn't as much. This trip I purchased a fleece jacket for $26.95 that is currently in the WDW gift shops for $49.00. I have found that their selection is usually better than the Character Premiere store in LBV.

There is another set of outlet stores in St. Augustine just across I-95. There is a Crocs outlet there and they have a great BOGO free sale going on. They have adult Disney crocs (red and pink) for $9.99 and buy one get one free!!!!

I live in St. Augustine and have found lots of Disney treasures at the Character Premier outlet. Clothes (racks of Grumpy shirts) Cruise line wear, Children and adult sleepwear, Holiday items, toys, pins, limited artwork ect. They do have a display case at the register with watches and jewelry as well.

The store is still there and open during regular store hours. I work in St Augustine and drive past the outlet mall every day.
I don't know about the watches - I haven't gone into the store lately but will be this weekend.

Just read somewhere that Dooney & Bourke opened a new store at the Prime Outlets in St. Augustine. I've read on other threads about their new 'Disney' bags and purses.....does anyone know if this outlet carries that line and are the prices reduced from the online prices at all?

I read that you could only buy them at WDW or DL. I got the wristlet at WDW last weekend - they are really cute!
