Character meetings?

So I booked lunch at Ariel's Grotto so DD could get to meet all the princesses but what about the other characters like mickey, minnie, donald, goofy, Aladdin, etc? Is there a map of where all the character meeting locations are? DD is most excited to meet everyone so I want to make a better effort this time around to get her to meet them all. Thanks

Your best bet for the "Fab 4/5" is in ToonTown early in the morning and around the flagpole area on Mainstreet throughout the day. There are also characters right inside the turnstiles throughout the day as well.

Don't worry, running into them in the parks happens often and is 1/2 the fun!

from my experience the princesses are madness to see and get autographs from since they hang out at the castle and when they come out its a mob sceene but mickey, minnie, goofy and donald all have homes in toontown and pooh, tigger and eyeore have a place in pooh country.

I think you can ask at City Hall (?) when a specific character will be out and they will tell you where he'll be out, too. But I have no idea for how many characters you can ask at once.

Actually the Princesses are now located at the Princess Fantasy Faire by IASW. There was another poster who said many of them hppened to "escape" one day and were in the front by the turnstiles.

Also, I think you can get a list of meat 'n greets at city hall like Vala said with times and locations.

There is very good information on the characters and where to see them at this link http://www.disneymouselinks.com/disneyland-Characters.aspx. Click on the A-Z list of characters for information about each and where you're likely to see them. At my last visit, we saw the princesses at the entrance in front of the Mickey flowers on two different days.

All the Pooh characters (mainly Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger) can be found in Critter Country at the exit of the Pooh attraction. I also have seen Brer Fox in Critter Country recently.

You can find Buzz in TL.

Woody and Jessie and sometimes Pocohontas in Frontierland.

Mickey and Minnie at their individual houses in TT.

You will find the Fab 5 as well as Cruella De'ville in Town Square throughout the day.

Mary Poppins & Bert often in front of the castle or near the Carnation Plaza stage area.

Captain Jack Sparrow and other various pirates at Pirate's Lair on TSI.

You can catch 3 characters at one time at the Drawn to the Magic show in DCA. (Usually a princess, Woody and Mickey)

I have also seen the following in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot: Sulley, JoJo & Goliath, Cruella, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, Goofy, Max.

Koda and Kenai in the Redwood Creek Challenge area (they have a show there). Push the trashcan is also back in this area now.

If you know who you want to see just stop in City Hall and ask where and when. The CM's there will give you the info you need.

Also be sure to grab a Times Guide when you pass thru the turnstiles (maps in one holder, TG's in another) - they tell what shows are running at what times, and what times to meet specific characters - the really popular ones have 'showtimes' of sorts. For example, Buzz is usually at TL near the Buzz Lightyear ride every hour on the hour after 9am till noon, then a couple times in the pm as well. Pooh and friends are at their greeting place in CC between 11am and 4:30pm, Ariel at Triton's Gardens between 11am and 5pm, etc.... The hours are different for weekends and weekdays, so be sure to grab one each day to make sure nothing has changed from the day before.

Thanks for that info, I will make sure to grab one! I'm really excited to be going to Disneyland, we have gone to WDW several times but very first for DL and I CAN'T WAIT!!
