Hi all,

Has anyone on here made a list of ALL the character meet and greets around the parks? Not just the permanent ones but the more incidental ones? I've been making a list (as a checking check list!!) for our trip in March and thought it might be interesting to pop it on here for people to contribute to? But if this type of thing already exists somewhere, then I don't want to re-create the wheel.....

This is what I've got so far:

* Inventions Evening Buffets - Disneyland Hotel - Various

Also...
* Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show - Mickey & Goofy Sheriff in Colonel Cody's Saloon

And who knows who you might meet in each Disney Hotel!
For example...

Meet and Greets and the resorts hotels in the morning. Found in the lobby of the Santa Fe, Cheyenne, Sequia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, New York and the Disneyland Hotel.

Then there is the 'Descent of the Stairs' at the Disneyland Hotel in the afternoons, check the days times with the hotels reception. It's a sort of mini show with the characters dancing down the stairs. They then hang around the lobby of the hotel for a while. ShellieMay has been spotted here!

Recent Hotel Spots:

* Cheyenne - Minnie, Jessie (16-12-14)
* New York - Pluto, Chip & dale (07-01-14)

Also see - http://www.charactercentral.net/

Is this useful to anyone? Can anyone add any recent (within last 12 months) meet and greets you've seen on your visits? If people think this is useful, maybe people could post below and I could add to the list?

Happy to remove this if there's already a list somewhere that I could add to instead?

BIG THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY CONTRIBUTED!

Cowboy Cookout is now non character dining. Inventions is a nightly character buffet too. Also in the Studios, directly before the Stars & Cars parade you can quite often meet Mary Poppins, Bert, Emile, Remy, Donald Duck, Stitch, Lilo, Cruella de Ville and I think Ariel, Mulan & Snow White may also be regularly seen? I've left some out too as this isn't a parade I've seen much. Sorry for vague info.

We've also met Villains during Halloween season in the courtyard at the back of the Castle. We've seen: Dr Facilier, Queen of Hearts, The Witch, Evil Queen, Maleficent, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, Drusilla, the sheriff of Nottingham, Cruella and excuse my horrible knowledge: the baddies from Mulan, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pocahontas. I think that's it?

Thanks Kizzabel!! Were these quite recent meets?

Don't forget the Meet and Greets and the resorts hotels in the morning. Normaly very quite after 10am. Found in the lobby of the Santa Fe, Cheyenne, Sequia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, New York and the Disneyland Hotel.

Also at the Walt Disney Studios Park in the Production Courtyard, in 'Disney Junior Live on Stage!' show there is a Meet and Greet before the show starts. Also little Rémy can be found in the Restaurant des Stars in the Production Courtyard.

At the pre-show of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in the Disney Village you can meet Mickey and Goofy Sheriff in Colonel Cody's Saloon.

Also have a look at the fantastic Disney Character Central website run by Jon Fiedler and Dan Brace, it's a fantastic resource for Character hunting.

There is also a rumour that there is a Gobblewonker in Lake Disney.

I swear, this mummy brain has to be a recognized condition!

I NEED to find Launchpad McQuack, if it's the last thing I do!!:worship:

He hasn't been spotted recently, has he? :scared:

Re: Launchpad, They don't have him out much except special events and evenings, due to costume problems.

I have found you get a lot more randomn characters in the studios than you do in the main park.

You MIGHT find him in the Hotel New York, this is where he pops up now and again. He is not a special events character so you might bump into him. :)

He was out recently for the Special Stars n Cars for NYE.

BTW, WHERE is Rhythms de la Jungle?? Is it near Hakuna Matata / Colonel Hathis?

Thanks

We've met "jungle" characters right at pizza outpost.
