Just wondering where the Chase Disney card character meet and greet is (what park, and where in that park), and what you have to do for it. I already have the card. I'm also looking for experiences - was it a long wait? What characters were there?

TIA

We did it a couple of years ago. It's in Epcot I believe (future world) We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. All you need to do is show your card. Wasn't a long line.

We went to Epcot twice on our last visit. You can get a free picture once a day each day you go to Epcot.

It was the same Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. for us. The wait one day was about 10 minutes. The second day was about 45 minutes. But it was hot and we didnt care to wait inside in the air, we were tired that day.

:thumbsup2 Yep, it's at Epcot. I believe the time is around 1-4? And you bring your Disney Visa to show for ID. Mickey, Minnie and Goofy did a great job, and the photographer will even take pictures with your camera for you! Definitely a plus for Disney Visa holders! We do it every year! And they don't rush you, they take time with you, and it really is a nice refuge from the heat. It's in one of the Innoventions buildings to the right. (If I'm wrong, someone correct me:) Enjoy your pictures!

It is in the same building as the Segways. We did it twice in December. One day it was Mickey, Goofy and Minnie. The second day is was Minnie and Goofy.

On the second day my son was sleeping in the stroller and Minnie made us wheel him over and took a picture with him sleeping. some of the best character interaction.

Thanks for the info guys - I've been twice since I've had the card, but never bothered to go. This year we will! Thanks again!!

Yes, it's in the Innoventions building right by the segways. 1:30-4:30.

You can get one free picture per account, per day.

I have always recommended this as one of the highlights of our trips. My kids never really wanted to meet the characters out in the open in the parks, but they loved the surprise of seeing which characters were there each day (it's various combinations of 2 or 3 characters) and the private interaction was very nice for them.

The wait times seem to vary depending on the day. We usually travel to Disney at the end of May and do the character meet about 3 times per trip. We never experienced a wait of more than 5 minutes. This last trip (late Sept/early Oct) there was a massive line every time we tried to stop by, so we didn't bother. One day we got there about 20 minutes before it started and decided to wait because I really wanted a photo of my kids with 4 generations at Disney-- it was also very cute to see how excited great-grandpa was to meet and hug. :goodvibes

Wait times definitely vary. We've gone by there 4 different times. Only once have we stopped because that was the only time the line wasn't wrapping around past the segways. There was only one person in line that time. It really was a nice character greeting. You won't know who's there until you go in. We got Minnie and Goofy. They don't allow anybody else in until you're done so it does feel very private. You don't feel rushed because you don't have the next family watching you. It is a nice meet & greet if you're not particular about which of the fab 5 you'll see. I don't think I'd necessarily go out of my way for it but if you're between rides/attractions and you're in Future World then it's worth popping into Innoventions to at least see if there's a line. It's behind the fire house game.

You're given a voucher that you bring to the photo area near the front of the park on the left just as you're passing Spaceship Earth.

As far as the picture - do they print it out right there? Or do you have to go somewhere for that?

TIA

Yes, and it's only good for that day so don't forget to stop there on your way out.

You can select any picture you want and they will add a border of your choice. The photos are saved to a photopass card so you can order more later if you want.

The CM at the meet'n'greet will take pictures with your camera as well.

The CMs at the photo place have been very clear that we could only choose one of the photos that was taken at the DV meet & greet. We did get to choose any one of them and add a border. I just wanted to clarify that the "any picture you want" is any of the DV M&G photos that you want. I know I've read that you can choose any picture on your photopass card but that hasn't been our experience. It depends on the CM at the photo place I guess but the intent of the free 5x7 is definitely for a free DV M&G photo.

Is this going on now? We just got our Disney visa and im interested I doing this. S is it still Epcot? If so where exactly? And do the times vary? How do I find out about times if they do vary?:confused3

Yes the Visa M&G is still going on in the Innovations building from 1-4 everyday I believe.

Did this for first time in may. It was great! Makes the visa worth more now. I signed up b/c of the rewards and this - will get our use of it for DD.
It is in the Innoventions West (on the right side when coming from main entrance - just past the Space ball).

Did it two days in a row and had about 10 min wait. Not bad since it is inside in AC, there are video games for kids to play (DH liked that), private interaction, free photo in the end. Wait times vary b/c they let one family at a time & don't rush you. Also they switch characters every 30 min or so- any 2or 3 of fab five. While they switch no one goes in. Was annoyed second day b/c they switched just before we went in & we got Mickey & Pluto again. As other people have said, the lighting in there isn't the greatest- but hey it's a free photo & private meet&greet.
We plan on going each time we're in Epcot.

:thumbsup2 As others have said, it IS still going on, and we Love it!!! You can ask for 1) just your kids with the characters 2) just the parents or 3) all of you. You can also give them your camera or take your shots too. We've always gotten the free pic, and by the time I get home? The shots that were taken with my camera either by them or myself were as good as theirs!
It is a NICE break in a hot day or for tired kids even though your standing in a line. And don't expect a big sign or a room that 'yells' Disney Visa pics. I'm sure they keep it small so as NOT to attract a crowd and have to answer a ton of questions. Usually you just see people standing in a line against a wall with a rope tie off that leads into a doorway with a curtain. HTH's!
